AirSupport Group presents state-of-the-art equipment for airlines in El Salvador

As part of its commitment to innovation and technological development in El Salvador’s aviation industry, AirSupport Group has invested more than two million dollars in the acquisition and upgrading of ground support equipment. This renovation strengthens ramp operations at El Salvador International Airport, raising standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

The growth of airport infrastructure in the country, driven by the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA) and the Civil Aviation Authority, has consolidated El Salvador as a regional benchmark in safety and innovation. In this context, AirSupport Group has strengthened its fleet with more than 40 new units, incorporating low-consumption power plants, air conditioning units for aircraft with eco-efficient technology, push and tow tractors, automated loading belts, and other auxiliary equipment that optimizes ground operations.

During the press conference, CEPA President Federico Anliker highlighted that AirSupport Group’s investment “goes hand in hand with our goal of providing world-class service to passengers,” while AirSupport Group CEO Iván Navarro stated that the company “exceeds international standards” thanks to its ISAGO certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and its strategy of constant modernization.

AirSupport Group is fully prepared to meet the future demand of the aviation industry in the region and beyond. As part of this investment, the company has incorporated low-consumption power plants that reduce CO2 emissions, eco-efficient air conditioning units for aircraft, as well as push tugs, trailers, and loading belts with advanced electronic systems (HMI) that optimize safety and operational efficiency. In addition, the renewal of baggage carts and other auxiliary equipment reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in every operation.

To inaugurate the new fleet, AirSupport Group CEO Iván Navarro, CEPA President Federico Anliker, and Civil Aviation Authority President Jorge Puquirre were present alongside the media and special guests.

Since its inception in the 1980s, with six employees and a forklift, AirSupport Group has evolved to anticipate and meet the needs of airlines and airports. Today, with cutting-edge technology and an exceptional team, the company continues to drive the future of the aviation industry in the region.
